As project lead and chair of ASTRA Community Projects (a charity), I believe the answer is simple: With the professional assistance of a small highly talented team, ASTRA managed to deliver (in a pandemic and economic crisis) a Community Building of outstanding: • Design • Presence • Quality • Practicality • Value `Attention to Detail’ was the fundamental key to this achievement in the critical areas of: • Layout and use of space • Constant re-engineering and remodeling of each element of the build • Technology and the use of offsite manufacturing to: • Achieve higher build standards during winter months (high rainfall) • Fast construction – 200sq meters in 7.5 weeks • Outstanding value at a fixed price due to `the containment of normal adverse variables’ which with more traditional construction methods becomes an uncontrollable nightmare for the client! With outstanding design, outstanding construction, outstanding manufacture, and determination we have managed to deliver a building that the Community actually `loves’ and could afford!
