This year's Offsite Expo, which took place in Coventry on the 20th and 21st of September, was the scene of a double triumph for the VOLUMETRIC™ team as they launched the latest in their modular housing range and secured another Offsite Awards victory.
Leading designers and manufacturers of offsite modular solutions, VOLUMETRIC™ were at the event to launch the FAMILYHAUS™ model, extending their current product range, which already features the SOLOHAUS™ and DUOHAUS™ options. The Offsite Expo saw over 4000 construction professionals in attendance, with visitors getting a first-hand look at a full-sized demonstration unit, with members of the VOLUMETRIC™ team on hand to detail its features and benefits.
The FAMILYHAUS™ offers cost-effective, low-energy accommodation for up to two adults and two children and boasts a 60-year design life. Fully furnished, the family model comes with high-performance low-energy white goods and fittings and has been designed to surpass the Future Homes Standard. The launch follows an exciting year of expansion for VOLUMETRIC™, with the opening of their second manufacturing facility taking place earlier this year.

Against some fierce competition, VOLUMETRIC™ secured a win, taking home the Product Innovation Award for the DUOHAUS™ model. Designed for dual occupancy, the DUOHAUS™ utilises innovations in sustainable technologies to offer exceptional airtightness for minimal heat loss and low carbon emissions.
This is the second year the modular housing range has been awarded, with VOLUMETRIC™ also being named winners of the Building Pioneer award at the 2021 event.
