All the planning, preparation, and patience have paid off as Offsite Expo closes its first day at this year’s much-anticipated event. Offsite Expo 2022 is currently underway at the Coventry Building Society Arena and has seen construction professionals enjoying the chance to network, learn, and share skills as part of the exciting two-day programme.
Now in its third year, the event has become a highlight of the construction industry calendar, and organisers expect to attract over 4,000 delegates during the event.
Day one offered masterclasses by leading companies such as Volumetric Modular, Bond Bryan Architects, Stelling Properties, EOS Framing, and many more - while day two will see attendees expanding their knowledge of offsite developments in the retail, leisure, housing, and healthcare markets. In addition, more than 150 exhibitors have been demonstrating the latest products driving offsite developments throughout the built environment. The show floor features a range of eye-catching features, full-scale modules, and creative installations, and visitors are making the most of the chance to get a first-hand look at new technologies.
Organisers of the event have been thrilled with the turnout so far, with Offsite Expo 2022 looking likely to exceed the expectations set by the last event in 2021.
Julie Williams, Business Development Director of Offsite Expo, said ‘We’ve been blown away by the response from our attendees of the first day of the Offsite Expo this year – we set ourselves a high benchmark last year and it’s been great to see so many returning, as well as many new faces. There’s no denying it’s been a difficult few years for the construction industry, with the pandemic putting a hold on many events, so it’s fantastic to be able to offer this opportunity to network and share ideas across the offsite sector. We have to extend our thanks to all of the exhibitors, speakers, and contributors who have helped to make this event a triumph once again, their involvement really helps to put Offsite Expo on the map.’
With plenty more to come, including more masterclasses and hundreds of meetings scheduled in Offsite Connect – a forum offering a structured, highly effective way for buyers and specifiers to meet with new and existing offsite industry suppliers – day two is set to be another resounding success.
The second day of the event will also highlight the winners of this year’s Offsite Awards, which will be announced at an evening ceremony this evening. Head over to the finalist’s gallery on stand K20! This year has seen a record number of entries in 25 categories covering every aspect of the industry from hybrid and modular technology to engineering and installation.
You can still register for day 2 of the event tomorrow via the Offsite Expo website, www.offsite-expo.co.uk/book - or simply turn up when doors open from 9.30am!
