Nuspan Flooring has been awarded gold membership status with the Supply Chain Sustainability School, acknowledging our efforts to bring proactive, positive, sustainable change to the built environment.
The School offers three different membership levels, with gold reserved to reward and recognize the most active and engaged members who are committed to continuous improvement in sustainability.
This achievement reflects the strong focus which Nuspan puts on assessing and improving environmental and sustainable performance. By engaging with the School and the resources which they provide, our teams have broadened their knowledge and understanding of sustainable topics including offsite manufacturing, digital techniques, sustainable procurement, lean construction, and fairness, inclusion and respect (FIR).
This is in addition to other initiatives in which Nuspan is investing, including adopting DfMA principles to ensure material and operational efficiency, operating a circular economy within the factory by re-using all waste, and undergoing ISO 14001 assessment for environmental performance.
"We are delighted to have reached gold membership status with the Supply Chain Sustainability School," comments Helen Wildin, Sales & Marketing Manager at Nuspan Flooring. "This achievement gives certainty to our customers and supply chain that they are dealing with a responsible business."
