Geberit, the European market leader for sanitary products, will be showcasing its pre-assembled bathroom pod solutions for hotels at the Modular Matters Conference and Exhibition in Birmingham.
Geberit will be exhibiting as headline sponsors on the second day of the event at the National Conference Centre on 16th February. Join Thomas Ritson, Specification Sales Manager Clients – Hotels & PODs for Geberit, who will be on stand detailing the benefits of modular bathroom pods for architects, specifiers and developers.
Reducing noise, facilitating easier installation
Bathroom acoustics remains a challenge for hotel projects, with research from Geberit showing almost a third (30%) of people have been disturbed at night by bathroom noise in hotels, including dripping taps and flushing toilets from neighbouring rooms. More than half (51%) cite unwanted internal noise as having a negative impact upon their wellbeing.
Offering a complete bathroom finished off-site with integrated services ready for connection, Geberit’s pods can include sound optimising drainage piping to reduce noise transfer from flushing water, washbasins or showers. Wall-hung toilets with concealed cisterns and pre-wall frames such as Geberit Duofix also prevent noise from travelling down the wall and through the floor.
There are construction benefits too. Modular bathroom pods assembled off-site reduce the need for different tradespeople working in small bathroom spaces, whilst eliminating the tricky task of transporting materials up the lift. They can drive cost savings and make it easier to ensure compliance too, with off-site testing.
Thomas Ritson said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about bathroom pods and their benefits for the hotel sector, from a European leader with vast experience in this field. I’m looking forward to speaking with visitors to the National Conference Centre.”
